Prenatal Nicotine Exposure as a Teratogen in Neurological Pathways
Monica Grover is a junior in Virginia Commonwealth University’s Honors College, majoring in Chemistry with a minor in Biology. She is on the pre-law track and aspires to combine her interests in law, Spanish, and medicine in her career. She has conducted her own research in a variety of subjects, such as UV radiation on plant growth, organic synthesis of poly-lactic acid, and substance abuse. She is also a research assistant in the Department of General Internal Medicine at MCV and serves as a Spanish interpreter at a low-sliding scale clinic in her hometown. Monica wishes to follow her diverse interests in law and also to seek opportunities in government to gain experience in the social and political aspects of science.
